The challenge with being an initiator is that you are never, ever done. And that’s how IFA was formed. The initiation was taken by stakeholders of the flooring industry.

Floors which is an integral part of an infrastructure and the most critical, requires a marked shift in thought process attached to its importance, the engineering, design or lack of it, the contractual arrangements, process, roles, costing, etc. Recognizing and anticipating a shift in requirements, some of the key stakeholders of the industry gathered together and worked jointly in the promotion of modern engineering practices, awareness on machines, tools, products, process, qualification, that’s how IFA was formed.

We as a body through various forms, such as, consulting to installation expand our holistic approach of creating awareness for investors, end-users, professionals and consultants, since 2014. We are doing this through flooring conferences, demonstrations, and exhibitions, across India. We started from Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and will be followed by Bengaluru in 2019.

Ensuring construction professionals maintain adequate standards and ethics is the core motive of IFA.
